With hesitant steps, Damian moved forward slowly. His hands held a large bag filled with gifts. Toys, coloring books, candies, even the children’s favorite stuffed animals—he had gathered them all with the remaining savings he had.

“I... I brought this for you...” Damian said softly, his hoarse voice barely audible. He extended the bag forward.

Olivia stepped forward and took it. “Wow! This is the panda doll I wanted!” she exclaimed happily.

Katty held a puzzle box. “Daddy still remembers I like this?”

Delya took out a set of crayons and a coloring book. “These are my favorite colors.”

Alva hugged a cute green dinosaur doll. “Dinooo!” she exclaimed joyfully. “Daddy, thank you so much!”

The four children said in unison, “Thank you, Daddy.”
