Chapter 90
“Our team has searched hospitals, airports, terminals, and several inns within a 50-kilometer radius,” he reported quickly. “We’ve also asked all her close friends and family. Everyone says Mrs. Elena hasn’t contacted anyone since two days ago.”
Nathan stared blankly ahead. “She can’t have run away. I know Elena. She’s not the type to just leave, especially not the day before the wedding.”
“That’s right, Mr. Nathan,” the other bodyguard said. “It looks like Mrs. Elena was indeed kidnapped.”
“If she was kidnapped,” Nathan’s voice began to rise, “why hasn’t someone contacted me to pay a ransom for Elena!”
Just then, Damian appeared from the direction of the stairs, walking casually as if nothing had happened. His white shirt was neat, his hair was slicked back, and the expression on Elena’s ex-husband’s face was calm.
“Any progress?” asked Damian, standing next to Nathan.
Nathan turned his head, his face immediately hopeful. “Nothing at all.”
