Chapter 10

Anita’s POV

I grumpily made my way out of bed as I felt the cold on my skin. I must have forgotten to close the window before I went to bed last night.

I made my way to the window and closed it. It was December, by the way, and the snow was already heavy.

I would have been a bride cuddling with her husband, but no, he must have forgotten about me. Everyone must have forgotten about me.

It’s been four months! Four months of peace!

I had gained a little weight over the months as I realized I had much more peace and calmness.

Only God knows what would have happened if I had ended up marrying Damien.

I walked my way to the bed and grabbed my phone to check the time.

Dang!!! 12:12 am!

Now my sleep was out of the window.

“Maybe I should go look for it in the snow,” I giggled at my own thoughts.

I looked around for quite a while and decided to force myself to sleep. If sleep won’t come to me, I will go to sleep!
