Lennon’s POV
I ran home knowing that there was nothing much I could do anymore except for only one sure solution—to pray.
I took the file of the young lad and dashed into my private room.
No one was ever allowed in it except if they needed to pray with me or to be prayed over.
“Lord, I can’t do this without you. I’m helpless. I’m just a doctor; you give and take life, but Lord, I sense a calling in this. Lord, just like you have always done, please heal my patient. Heal this baby and the mother, even if it be the last thing I do.”
The last sentence of my prayer came from my pain and agony. A lot of things were surrounding this baby’s case; only the mother seemed to be concerned. The father could care less—not to even say that the said child is from wealth, a very prestigious family.
