Chapter 8

“You’ll lose your goddamn job if you screw this up any further!”

Madison walked in on Nathan scolding one of the employees and planners of the launch of the Westbrook Lovers’ Park. They were in the facility's control room, and Nathan was very worked up. He wanted everything to suit his grandfather’s taste, so he sought approval.

“I’m sorry, sir,” Sia, the employee being scolded, said to him. Everyone was trying their best to ease the tension. Madison wasn’t happy with Nathan’s aggressive attitude towards Sia, even after she apologized.

“Sorry does not solve any of this,” Nathan responded angrily to Sia’s plea. “Go rectify this as soon as possible!” he yelled at her.

“Nathan, that’s enough,” Madison had to cut in. “Your anger will only make her commit more errors,” Madison added.

Sia was still in the presence of Nathan when Madison intervened and defended her.

“Are you seriously still here?” Nathan asked Sia, then ordered her to leave his presence.
