Chapter 25. It’s Cold
She dressed for an hour. Michelle was in the room, talking endlessly about this guy she met on an accidental drop by in the market to buy some apples for dinner. The courtesy was credited to none other than Mrs. Littlewick. Michelle can never stop thinking about a boy whenever she meets them spontaneously.
It was one of the traits that Michelle boasted about, even proud of it when she could.
“Do you think he’ll send me a letter back? I’m getting curious about what he has been doing.”
Rachel already finished dressing her waist in a corset. She moved on with her fuller skirt and squeezed her body in immediately. Rachel was listening instantaneously with her best friend as she said, “So you like the boy?”
Michelle fell down the bed. She leaned her head by her palm as she watched Rachel straightening the creases of the lower strands of her skirt. Michelle didn’t budg
