Chapter 27. Praise
After the song, Ezekiel stood there with an intention of not disturbing the showering praises from the members of the Namson family. Even the maids clapped to her extraordinary performance.
Georgia asked, “Is the gentleman on the back your companion? He should join our dinner, too.”
Rachel turned to Ezekiel, who was standing upright, aligned with the maids, and smiled a little. She nodded, answering curtly, “Yeah, he is my chaperone. Can he join the dinner, too?”
Georgia ushered a maid to serve another pair of utensils as Ezekiel was being called over, beside King Namson at the dinner table. His face was grim, but immediately turned to delight as he sat down beside the youngest son of Namsons.
