Chapter 28. Contemplating
She woke up early in the morning, suffering the consequences of falling asleep later than usual.
Rachel was holding the quill, dipping it in ink, but she never wrote down what she wanted to say to Luther in the parchment. The wind breezed through her window room, and Rachel got tired of assessing if she’s doing it right. Maybe, she lost the ability of loving him endlessly, just how she promised it before.
If only Luther didn’t cheat, she’d be having a great time living as his housewife. Cooking him the dishes he wanted to eat whenever he comes home and tucking him to sleep while Rachel looked at him dearly. Every memory beats the definition of the current situation she’s facing now.
