Chapter 45. A Better Judgment
Rachel and Ezekiel didn’t know a better way to drop off the angst but to just talk.
Ezekiel doesn’t have any rifle, just himself, in a sergeant uniform, invading the girl’s bathroom.
Rachel found it sceptical to answer what he was asking, but she’s in a critical position.
“I found it a bit controlling, a bit nauseated, to see you seated beside the man you love. I felt little, that I was just a second for you, and I’m not even the slightest bit of a good man to be in Luther’s position.”
She listened thoroughly. But at the same time, she was anxious about Luther Griffin.
He might barge in somewhere to find her or even knock at the woman’s bathroom to check if she’s alright. Rachel shook her head and refused to answer the question, “Please, Mr. Godric, this is not the right time to talk about that, alright? Luther is here. I had to be careful with my actions. We agreed that we are going to break up on his last day here, but not inside our university.”
