Chapter 16. Mistaken for a Girlfriend
After that day, Trevor consistently fulfilled his promises to Savannah and Lola Sally. He was always available and supportive, and he spent a lot of time with Savannah, going above and beyond what was expected of him. He would pick her up whenever she needed a ride, spend his breaks and lunchtime with her, and made an effort to reduce his bar-hopping habits on Fridays (although he still went occasionally with Sav’s permission, which she didn’t mind).
“Need a hand with that?” Trevor didn’t wait for Savannah’s answer as he immediately grabbed the paper bags she was carrying, which contained groceries she had just bought from the supermarket.
