Chapter 7. A Part-Time Job

Since it was only 12:30 in the afternoon, Savannah and Trevor decided to take a mini-tour of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) campus and find a comfortable place to talk about Savannah’s plans. They walked around, observing the different buildings, cafeterias, and restaurants. Due to the scorching heat, they decided to sit on a bench near the UST lover’s lane.

“So… do you think my aunt will hire me and let me work for our company?” Savannah asked Trevor right away as they sat on the bench.

“I think so. Why wouldn’t she hire you? You’re hardworking… and trustworthy!”

Trevor had randomly thought about this, never expecting Savannah to like his idea. But he was happy that she did. He was glad he could help her in some way.
