Chapter 6. A Part-Time Job

Since it was just 12:30 in the afternoon, both Savannah and Trevor decided to walk around the University of Santo Tomas (UST) campus for a mini tour and to search for a comfortable place where they could talk about Savannah’s plans.

As they walked, they saw the different buildings on campus, as well as cafeterias and restaurants nearby. Because the temperature was too hot and the sun was striking directly on their skin, they decided to sit on a bench near the UST Lover’s Lane.

“So… you think my aunt will hire me and let me work for our company?” Savannah asked Trevor right away as they sat on the bench.

“I think so. Why wouldn’t she hire you anyway? You’re hardworking… and you’re trustworthy!”

Honestly, Trevor had just randomly thought of the idea—he never expected Savannah would actually like it. But he was glad she did. He was pleased that he had been able to help her in some way.

“You think so?” Savannah raised a brow, and Trevor immediately nodded.<
