Chapter 10. Heartbroken Trevor

Because Seth and Drake were both too persistent, Trevor eventually gave in and joined them for a few drinks. After a few minutes, he even joined Savannah, Sandra, and Shirley on the dance floor—he didn’t want the three girls to think that he was being unfair to them by hanging out only with the boys.

“Very good, Trev! That’s our boy!” Sandra clapped her hands and cheered as Trevor stepped onto the dance floor.

“Finally… you’re here!” Savannah grabbed both of Trevor’s arms and shook them as she felt so happy. “Let’s loosen up, okay? Let’s shake off all the negative vibes… we have… we won’t stop ‘til they’re all gone!” She then pulled him to the center of the dance floor and made him dance.

Sandra and Shirley couldn’t help but grin at each other as Savannah and Trevor danced. Sandra badly wanted to pull Savannah away—part of her worried it was all false hope—but seeing Savannah genuinely happy made her hold back.
