Chapter 13. Trevor’s New Habit

“Sav, you’re now my patron saint! How do you manage everything so smoothly while working part-time on weekends?! I envy your time management and patience! How are you still able to be a Dean’s lister?” Shirley touched Savannah’s face and wiped it with her handkerchief as if she were a blessed saint sculpture. Sandra followed suit, and Savannah couldn’t help but move away from them.

“Efficient time management is key,” Savannah answered Shirley’s question as she distanced herself from her and Sandra. “I always plan my day and start tasks as soon as they are given, even if their deadlines are weeks or days away.”

“I’m not sure I can do that… I’ll just rely on luck and your touch, our patron saint!” Shirley approached Savannah and touched her face again with her handkerchief.

“Anyway, I’m so… so… so happy for you! You’re a Dean’s lister, so you’re eligible for an academic scholarship!” Sandra clapped her hands, hugged Sav, and Shirley joined in.

“I’m so proud of
