The target is the Lieutenant. The man is trained to the teeth. But I can’t deny this offer for two reasons.

The first is because of my reputation. No matter how complicated getting a target is, I don’t back down.

The second is because of the insane amount of money that this Russell guy is offering.

Chad is the one that gets me information about my job offers. I get about twenty per day, but he knows I only take the ones with excellent pay and huge risks.

Chad closes the laptop and places it back into his backpack.

“If you’re going to that dinner with Mr. Showoff, then I’m coming along.” He suggests with a straight face.

“No, you’re not,” I say to him as I cross my arms on my chest.

“Yes, I am. I even have a suit that’d go perfectly with anything you wear.” He says with one of his famous smiles.
