Chapter 57. Unknown Figure

Bruce pondered the situation as he exited his Young Master’s office, he wondered if they were doing the right thing. He was already having doubts because it was him who had reported to Ethan and he wouldn’t be able to bear the guilt if he had indeed missed something.

But he had to obey the Young Master’s order for now or his head would be absent from the rest of his body before dawn.

As he went down the stairs, Cassidy emerged from the closed off balcony beside Ethan’s study. She hid her victorious smirk and entered the study.

“Ethan, how are you feeling?” She put on a look of worry as she attempted to walk behind his desk but he pinned her with his sharp gaze and she froze.

“I would appreciate some quiet in my study, Cassidy. I have work to do.”

“Of course, just let me know if you need anything,” she retraced her steps and sashayed to the door then turned to look at him again.

“And I’m always here if you need to speak to someone.”
