Chapter 5
The gym was empty just like he had instructed it to be.
“Let’s start with warm-ups.” Aldric told her to copy him as he started with basic warm-up exercises.
After they were done, he placed mats on the ground and motioned her to stand in front of him.
“Since your wolf is not your dominant side,” he started softly, “you are not as strong as most wolves. When you are unable to cast spells, you will be easily overpowered.”
He knew that she knew that, and him saying it out loud hurt her more, but he needed her to understand the gravity of her situation.
“Which is why I’m sure you wanted these lessons so that you can take care of yourself if needed. I will train you in special techniques that require more skill and little strength. Tell me you understand.”
