Chapter 6
Lysa was doing everything in her power to try and escape him, except she continuously kept underestimating his heightened senses.
She once attempted to escape out the window, but when she eventually arrived at the garden, he was there waiting for her. Another time, she attempted to distract him by giving him a pointless, tiresome task. When none of her tactics worked, she grew increasingly irate that he was ‘invading’ her personal space when he was giving her enough privacy.
After their little confrontation two days ago, she refused to talk to him or acknowledge his presence with more than two-three sentences.
He felt he could understand what she was going through, but he didn’t want to feel like he was doing something wrong.
“You are being unreasonable,” his brother said when he tried to explain why he couldn’t accept her to him again.
“Everyone deserves to be loved and valued. Why are you the only one who should keep sacrificing?”
