Chapter 20
“Have you been here before, Elijah? I’m sorry if it’s just us now. Because Alessa bought us a lot,” Alessa’s mother said while handing her husband the eco bags in which they put the things they bought. They were placed in the vehicle compartment.
“It’s fine,” said Elijah and glancing at Alessa, who now didn’t say anything.
“You’re so handsome, especially with your haircut, ah?” Alice still congratulated him because that was true. He looked good with the new haircut he had.
Elijah seemed ashamed that he bowed and looked away. Even if he didn’t say it, he knew he was ashamed because of the scar on his face.
“Come on and let’s go home right away. There are more people and it might be difficult for us to get out of the parking area,” said Alessa’s father, so they immediately obeyed. Alessa felt so worried about him. The concern was visible on her face.
