“Aunt Sheila, I don’t know if I can get Elijah to agree to something like that. I don’t want him to get angry with me again,” Alessa said.

If she was the one to ask, she would have been fine, even if Elijah didn't want to fix his face. It wasn't his appearance that she loved, but his personality. Whether it got fixed or not, it wasn't a big deal for Alessa.

“Alessa, I know that you are just avoiding Elijah’s anger or flattery, but I know that you will make him agree. Also, from what I can see, Elijah will want to fix his face for you,” Sheila said.

Sheila laughed, then whispered to her. “I saw you and Elijah earlier.” She even pressed her fingers together as if to kiss. “Even your kiss.”

Alessa’s cheeks warmed and avoided looking. “W-what are you talking about?”
