Chapter 34
Gwen's POV
"Gwen," Conrad calls me as I'm about to leave his room. "Are you mad?"
"No," I honestly reply. "We both chose this, not just me."
He nods absentmindedly. "Do you think it's wrong?"
"It's just sex, Conrad. You shouldn't take it too seriously, don't dwell on it. Sooner or later, it was bound to happen if we kept kissing at parties."
"Maybe you're right. I'll take a nap. You can leave or do whatever you want, just remember to send me a message."
"Tired?" I ask teasingly.
"A little," he responds in the same tone, and I laugh.
He turns off the light, and I step out of the room. I wanted to talk to him about what we'll do from now on, ask him what will become of us and what our relationship will be based on. I got scared, and that's why I let him fall asleep. I should be braver and take more risks, but it's difficult; it's complicated for me to do so. I wish it were easier to ask my biology professor for casual sex.
