Chapter 43

Albert's POV

In the soccer game, things went well for me. Our team managed to score, and we celebrated at Randall's house. We invited the teacher, but he didn't want to come. He said he was too busy to skip a party, which was unusual because he never missed a party with us. He congratulated us through a message and said we did an incredible job. I didn't mind much that he didn't come to Randall's house. After all, he has gotten into a lot of trouble lately, all of it involving people from our classroom.

At first, I felt resentful towards him. My best friends loved him; they were always talking about the new teacher, making fun of others, inviting him, and taking pictures with Conrad. I was jealous and didn't want to be left out. I'm not the most communicative person, usually keeping things that bother me to myself or telling Logan. But in the case of the teacher, I decided not to say anything. Logan was also thrilled with the way Conrad handled things. Everyone liked him
