Chapter 145. No Sign of Her

Colt’s POV

“Did Kate ever go to bed last night?” Grey linked me.

He has been quiet most of the morning, seemingly distracted by something.

Was it because of Brian’s execution later today?

“I haven’t seen her,” I said, shifting my attention toward Sam, who was chasing after a white fur ball running for his dear life and praying not to end up in Luka’s sharp claws.

“Me neither,” he answered, pouncing toward the small white bunny. “I checked her room earlier; she didn’t sleep in her bed.”

Sam didn’t complain about any weird feelings, so I guess Kate must have decided to stay over in Sarah’s room. Maybe it was a good sign that their relationship was healing.

“Maybe she is still at Sarah’s,” I said, running towards the river.

My brothers and I had gone out on an early wolf run.

Ray has been particularly grumpy and will snap at the most unexpected things.
