Colt’s POV
“Did you find her?” I asked as I caught up with David waiting for us at the front of the pack house.
He looked like sh*t. His blond hair was standing in all directions, and his clothes were wrinkled, but what caught my attention was the pink shade of nail polish still on his fingernails.
Bloody hell, did he crash the ladies’ night? Did Sarah let him join them?
My gaze moved toward Sarah. Her eyes looked puffy, like she had too much to drink last night, and she had a thick green-knitted blanket wrapped around her shoulders. For a second, she looked like she was very cold.
“No,” he said, shaking his head and dropping his gaze. His hands were scrunched into fists, and he looked as if he was about to break down and lose control.
