Chapter 68. Standing Without Support

Catherine’s POV

I was waiting for Luna Mary to say something, yet her face was frozen in surprise.

What was she looking at?

Did I do or say something wrong?

I moved my gaze toward the boys for help, yet I didn’t expect to see them standing there with their mouths wide open, gawking at me. It was as if all of them were frozen in time.

I knitted my eyebrows together, irritated.

Did I have something in my hair?

All the boys stood there frozen, like statues, not even blinking their eyes.

Colt’s gaze was pinned on me, and he had this weird look of disbelief crafted from his cold, hard face. There were no traces of anger anymore, just shock.

Grey’s expression was similar to Colt’s, yet it looked like he was about to pass out. The blood on his face was drained, and he was turning whiter with every ticking second.

Was he holding his breath?

Sam had this beautiful, broad smile spread over his lips. He looked so proud.
