Chapter 71. Proud of What I Had Done

Catherine’s POV

Colt couldn’t keep his dominant pose, and something like a giggle escaped his lips.

His face turned red out of embarrassment, and I burst out laughing, breaking the tension in the atmosphere.

Sam and Grey quickly rushed in to see what had happened, looked between the two of us, and growled, disappointed.

“You are such a spoiled sport!” Sam growled, slapping Colt behind the head.

“She already knew!” Colt defended, rubbing the back of his head. “I could see it in her eyes! She knew!”

“What are you talking about?” Sam hissed.

Was this his idea?

My gaze moved between the boys, with Sam looking very disappointed that their plan didn’t work. Colt was embarrassed, and Grey, well, was enjoying the bickering between his brothers.

“Grey must have told her!” Colt said, and their gazes moved toward him.

“Did you say or do something?” Sam asked.
