Chapter 16. Cunning Woman

Angeline stared at Harry in surprise; she didn’t expect him to be this angry at her. Harry had really shown how much he hated Angeline; she shouldn’t have appeared in front of him again.

“Don’t you have any shame? You don’t remember our last meeting and how I treated you badly? You don’t think that I insulted you? Then, why now do you come back and be nice to me? What do you really want?” Harry vented his emotions in front of Angeline, hoping that she would understand that he hated her so much.

Angeline’s face reddened; of course she remembered how Harry had insulted her the other day. How her ex-husband acted arrogantly towards her, as if showing how successful he was now. However, she had to forget all that and assume that Harry never did.
