Chapter 18. Weird Question

Alice froze when she heard Harry’s question. She was silent for a few moments to understand the meaning of her boss’s question. Why did he suddenly ask about her love story?

Witnessing how Alice reacted, Harry then came to his senses. He realized that he shouldn’t ask like that; Alice must have thought something wrong about him.

“Why, you ask, sir?” Alice asked reluctantly.
