Paul's POV

I decided to make a quick return after a brief absence, excusing myself to purchase some food so that the three of us could enjoy a little snack. The convenience store was accessible enough located just around the corner from the park where we were hanging out, and much to my delight, they happened to be selling my absolute favorite treats that are exclusive to Bataan. It was a nostalgic feeling to be back in this place after such a long time, surrounded by the sights and sounds that I had come to love.

As I approached the park bench where the two kids were engaged in a deep conversation, I could see the anticipation in their eyes. With three boxes of food in my arms, I greeted them with a simple, "Hey."
