Chapter 5. Into the Woods

"Are you alright?" Aria questioned as she rushed over to them and placed a hand on Carla's bowed back. 

"Oh my god," Carla gasped, breathlessly while clutched her throbbing hand, her cheeks growing flush as she held in her cries of pain.

"What did you do to her?" Aria asked Mark with an accusatory glare and Carla whimpered in pain.

"Did she tell you anything?" He asked as he joined Aria to comfort Carla who was silently sobbing over her damaged limb.

"Yes," she responded while staring at him with a guarded look. "It's true then? You are some kind of wolf man and you lured us out here to do... something."

"I don't wish harm on any of you, Aria, you have to believe me," he pleaded. "I'm just as helpless as you are in all of this..."
