Chapter 6. Disaster Begins
Carla could hear the sound of laughter and water splashing as they got closer to the lake, the wind carrying the careless fun of the group of teenagers to them.
She wished things were as carefree and joyful as they believed but unfortunately it was not. If night came and they were still in the woods most of them won't make it to see the morning.
The large car pulled up dangerously close to the lake, crashing into a cooler of drinks.
The move spooked their gathered friends.
"What the hell is your problem?!" Screamed one of the boys in outrage as he raced towards the scattered drinks and began gathering them back into the container with an icy glare thrown at them.
Carla rolled her eyes when she noticed it was mostly filled with alcohol and looked around for Carolyne, hoping against reason that the redhead was with them.
"Where's Carolyne?" She asked no one in particular when she got out of the car.
"We left her back at the campsit
