Chapter 7. Attack

Carla collected the flashlight Stephanie handed over to her as six of them prepared to go searching for Carolyne.

"Okay. Everyone has their phones and we have gone over the plan," She stated, glancing over to the others who were disassembling equipment and loading up their things. 

"Stick with your partner, be back in an hour and don't go too deep in," recited Stephanie and Carla nodded, thankfully as she released a shaky breath.

"What happens if the hour is up and we don't find her?" Asked one of the boys joining them on the search.

She frowned and checked the time on her phone then nodded, "we leave and get some help," she concluded and walked away, Aria, who was her designated partner, following after her.
