Chapter 18
When I opened my eyes, I was met by the lovely face of my lover. With one arm slung across my waist, he was still fast sleeping. I cracked a smile. He appeared to be at ease while resting there. His hair was in a disheveled bed head manner that just added to his hotness. How fortunate was I to have a friend like him?
The sun's rays began to seep through the curtains that covered the door to the balcony. The light created wonderful patterns on the floor. I wriggled free from Ollie's grasp and entered the bathroom. Before combing my hair, I quickly brushed my teeth and cleansed my face. I stared into the mirror at the girl in front of me. I was taken aback. This was not the person I'd seen in the mirror for the previous four years.
My skin was glowing and immaculate. The color was beautiful, slightly tanned, and free of purple bruises. My hair looked brilliant and alive. It was gleaming and lovely. My eyes were the ones that changed the most. They were no longer the drab, lifeles
