Chapter 13. Asthma

That night, I had already fallen asleep for almost half an hour in Auntie’s guest room because I couldn’t go home since the door was locked, and I couldn’t open it because I didn’t have a duplicate key. But I suppose, even if I had a key, Auntie still wouldn’t allow me to go home because I wouldn’t have any company there in case something happened. I understand her since I’m only seven years old, and as a child, it’s better for me to have someone with me especially since it was raining heavily and the wind was strong.
I woke up when Daddy gently tapped my face, but I quickly fell back asleep because he carried me and escorted me to my room.
