Chapter 18. Pingu
ASHER
Because of what happened between Lee and me earlier, our parents decided not to continue eating out. Mommy said she would just order pasta and pizza, and we would eat at Lee’s house instead.
Around 5 PM, Mommy’s order of pasta and pizza arrived, and as soon as it did, we headed straight to Lee’s house. It was the perfect time for dinner because I was hungry, and it seemed like Mommy and Daddy were too, as I overheard Daddy joking about his stomach growling at the smell of pasta and pizza.
When we entered Lee’s house, Auntie was already setting the table where we would eat. Despite Mommy saying she would order pasta and pizza, Auntie still cooked a dish because I could smell something like seafood, and when I glanced at the table, my suspicion was confirmed. There were shrimp, crab, and even corn.
“Didn’t you say you weren’t going to cook?” Mommy asked Auntie as we entered, and Mommy and Daddy immediately brought their pasta and pizza to the table
