Chapter 20. New Friends

Sunday finally came, and not much happened.

I planned to visit Lee in the afternoon, but as I was about to leave the house and had already asked permission from Mommy and Daddy, I coincidentally saw Lee, Auntie, and Uncle leaving. It seemed like they were going out because they were walking towards their car, and after a few seconds, Uncle started the car, and off they went.

I didn’t proceed with leaving and instead went back to my room and decided to do some advance studying because I really had nothing else to do. I wanted to suggest going to the mall with Mommy and Daddy, but even though we were at home and it was Sunday, they both had to work from home, so I couldn’t bring myself to ask them. I didn’t want to disturb them either.
