Chapter 15. Birthmarks

“Thank you, Asher…” Tate said with a big smile.
“You’ve been accompanying me for three days now, and you still keep saying thank you!” I chuckled as I lightly tapped his arm while we walked towards the playground.
“Well, I really am thankful. Mommy and Daddy always say that when you’re thankful to someone, you shouldn’t get tired of thanking them…” he explained.
After a few more steps, we finally reached the playground, and the first thing Tate and I headed for was the merry-go-round. We’ve been wanting to play here since yesterday, but it wasn’t available then, so we couldn’t play. We didn’t have to wait for it to be available anymore because Mommy and Daddy arrived just on time, along with Tate’s and Kade’s dad, their ride.
