Days passed, and two weeks went by, with many things happening in that short span of time. Both Mommy and Daddy found jobs—Mommy was rehired by the BPO company she used to work for before we migrated to Zedfina, and Daddy landed a position at a big shot construction company that paid almost twice his salary in Zedfina.

Moreover, I enrolled at Clara West Elementary School, the same school Lee attends. According to the class list shown to Mommy by the registrar when we enrolled, Lee and I were supposed to be classmates. After enrolling, I informed Mommy that I would visit Lee to deliver the news, but Lee didn’t let me into their house because Auntie and Uncle were not around.

With all that had happened, one thing just couldn’t happen—Lee and I just couldn’t get along because she didn’t like me. And she made it very clear that she didn’t like me because she ignored me. Every single time!
