Chapter 18

Alanna woke up sore in Matheus’s arms and kissed him under the chin.

Matheus looked at Alanna and said, “Good morning, baby. Did you sleep well?”

“I’m a bit sore.”

“I’m going to take care of you. Stay still, and I’ll be right back!”

Matheus put on his robe, went into the bathroom, and filled the bath. Then he went into the kitchen and started preparing Alanna’s breakfast. He went back into the bedroom, took Alanna on his lap, and put her in the bath.

The Alpha soaped Alanna’s back.

“I love your skin in the hot water!”

“I love it when you pamper me!”

Matheus took Alanna on his lap again, dried her off, and laid her face down on the bed. Some marks were red, others almost purple.

“Why didn’t you ask me to stop?”

“Because I liked it!”

Matheus went to the closet to get one of his shirts and put it on her. The Alpha went into the kitchen and brought out the breakfast tray.
