Chapter 115. Interrogation

Maddie’s eyes bulged and she felt like maybe she had heard the woman wrong. She had to, right? The death penalty? “The death penalty? Isn’t that a little too harsh?” She asked. 

Yes, she wanted revenge for what the guy had done to her, she wanted him to pay. But considering that he was actually the one who confessed and had been trying to make things right from the beginning, she believed that maybe he deserved a chance at least. 

“Yes, the death penalty. And no, it’s not too harsh. You are not the only omega he did that to, he confessed to sexually abusing a few others too. So no, Maddie, we can’t just give him a slap on the wrist. Plus, you should know that the laws of the pack are a bit harsh.” 

Mr Daniels had done it to other girls? Wow, she did not expect that. That explained why he had so much guilt weighing him down, who would be able to live like that?

“I…I did not know that,” She said under her breath but the woman heard her well.
