Chapter 132. A New Room

Vanessa’s eyes narrowed as she stepped in front of Nate, blocking his path. “Nate, this is ridiculous. You’re acting out of anger. We need to talk about this rationally.” 

Nate’s face twisted in fury, but he did not respond immediately. Instead, he turned back to Maddie’s belongings, picking up a framed photo and hurling it against the wall, shattering the glass. “Rationally? She betrayed me, Vanessa. She treated me like I’m just a piece of sh*t. I’m literally the Alpha and there are so many girls who would die to be with me, yet look at me! There is no rationalizing that.” 

Vanessa could not help but smile but she quickly hid it away and pretended like she was affected badly by this. But the truth was that she was actually happy, the plan was working, and the alpha was hating Maddie even more. 

She knew that rejection was going to happen, she just had to wait until the omega’s birthday, and then she would be free to be with Nate finally. Nothing would stan
