Maddie knew that it was a good idea. Keeping the gun down there was almost like waiting for someone to find it. Yeah, there was a passcode on the electric padlock, but still, that did not change the fact that it could even be hacked. 

She nodded and then replied in a breathy way, “Yeah, I think you’re right.” She sighed. “But I’m supposed to be going home with Nate in a few minutes, I don’t know if we can do it tonight.” 

“Are you sure? Maddie, I heard that Elder Roy is alive, the guy’s in a coma,” Jacob explained. “Things are getting riskier, let’s try our best to get ahead of it all before it’s too late.”
