Chapter 170. At the Restaurant

The car finally came to a stop at the parking lot of the restaurant. There were other fancy cars parked there and Maddie knew that even at a time like this, the place was going to be packed. 

She thanked the driver and then got out of the car. As she was about to head into the place, she pulled out her phone first to see if she had gotten any text from Jacob, and yes, she had. 

From the text she had just read, Jacob was already in the place, waiting for her. She was confused at first why the guy had arrived before her but then it clicked in her mind that his house was much closer.
