Chapter 183. Remembering

Maddie’s thoughts were all over the place, filled with worry and suspicion as they pulled into the hospital parking lot. Vanessa’s unexpected decision to tag along only added to the omega’s anxiety, but she tried her best to play it off. 

Once the engine of the car was off, they all got down and headed into the large building. Nate and Maddie already knew the way so they only nodded at the receptionist and walked towards the hallway that led to the elevator. 

As for Vanessa, she barely acknowledged the woman, she felt like she was way too important for speaking to commoners. She trailed behind Nate and Maddie and soon they were in the elevator, heading for the destinated floor. 

They were all quiet, no one talking to each other. Everyone was in their own minds, juggling their own thoughts. The lift came to a stop and they got off. The alpha led the way and soon they were walking into the hospital room that belonged to Elder Roy.
