Chapter 260. Meeting the Elders

Sitting at the dining table and eating was so awkward. Maddie could sense the tension in the space and man, it was so heavy. 

But she did not mind, she was not going to allow it to ruin what could possibly be her last breakfast. She ate and enjoyed her eggs, bacon, and some rice.

She made sure to enjoy her drink of orange juice too. She was going to make sure to enjoy this breakfast, no matter what. 

Nate was barely eating though, he just played with his food and kept glancing at the omega. As for Vanessa, the girl was eating like she did not care.

But of course, she felt a bit scared and sorry for the omega; she couldn't help it, she had a heart. Sometimes she wished she was a robot.

She was going to make sure to be there though, to be there when the verdict would be passed; when the judgment would be announced.
