Somehow, they had managed to get through that night, Lucian had stayed beside Rhea without touching her and Cassian had watched from afar. He had ached to go closer but couldn’t, his guilt wouldn’t let him and his thoughts as well.

He remembered what he had heard outside, what his father said and now he was scared about what was happening or would happen.
