Cassian stared at his watch, it was time to go and consult the witch. He had secretly stolen the directions to her house from his father’s office. He was going to leave in an hour, just before darkness fell over the land.

He didn’t want to be tracked or followed but he knew what to do regardless of that if it happened. He expected any and everything at this point. The strange feeling had settled in the palace, it was now a part of the atmosphere.
