Chapter 37

Against all odds, Minnesota had played better than all the experts had predicted at the beginning of the preseason and now found themselves to be contenders for the biggest prize in professional football. They were going to the Super Bowl. 

There was no way in hell Theo would allow Kat to sit this one out. It was a huge deal, and an insane event altogether. Kat agreed to come and support him with Shane and Edith. So with no idea what to really expect, Kat packed her bags for a few days in Miami, which is where the bowl was taking place that year. Joey had come down with a nasty cold and was staying with his dad until Kat got back home. He was sad to miss out but would be watching the game in bed. 

From the moment she stepped off the plane she felt as if the whole city was pulsing with excitement for the upcoming event. Everyone was talking about football. There were plenty of beautiful young women draped over older men with thick wallets. She saw celebrities
