Isis was right. I didn't think Isis would go through all this, so she could just talk to Lena.
Still, I betrayed her.
"Help her, Isis," I begged, my eyes teary. Lena's blood stained my hands.
"No, she wouldn't die, not yet; that's a little bit too easy and the dagger didn't go deep enough."
"Isis, how could you do this?"
She only laughed, "You should ask yourself that question; you aren't quite the saint either." she says, and her words stab into my chest. Just then the door opened, and I flinched. Maybe it would be Damien, it would be for the best if we were caught right here before we had the chance to escape; maybe then Lena could be taken to the healer.
Unfortunately, the vistor was a man I was sure I had never seen.
"Take her," Isis said, pointing to Lena.
"No," I growled, holding Lena's limb body closer to myself, but the man walked toward me, his claws extended.
