(Lena's POV)

I felt lost. Why did she help me? , why...

But then slowly, everything fell into place.

Damien looked mad, but the moment he saw me, his eyes softened slightly. He walked towards me, taking me in his hands and drawing me closer to him. In that moment, it was like there was no one in the room but the both of us, and then he kissed me slowly.

"I'm sorry," he said, "for not being there."

"No, it's not your fault; she brought me here," I said, pointing to Isis. He looked puzzled, and, surprise, she looked puzzled too.

"What do you mean?"

"She brought me here."

Isis smirk was gone.

"It can't be her, Lena; she had notified us that you were here; that's how we were able to save you," he said, and that confused me too.

"What kind of game are you playing this time?" I asked Isis, but she still had that stupid puzzled look on her face, and if only I didn't know it was fake, I would have thought her innocent
