Chapter 29
Sky's POV
I struggled to keep up with him as he darted through the woods, his knowledge of the terrain giving him the advantage. Drenched by the pouring rain, I quickly made my way back to my house, carefully picking up my shredded clothes along the way before finally walking through the door and into my home.
“Sky? Sky, is that you?” Owen runs out of his room. “Oh, thank the Moon Goddess! I was so worried.”

After grabbing one of his old t-shirts that I had placed by the door, I silently make my way to my room. It seems that Owen has taken to following me.
“Sky? What’s wrong? Did something happen?”
As I pick up my hairbrush to begin combing through my hair, I shake my head no indicating a negative response.
